Hi, I’m Kat Valera, the baker and creator behind Kat’s Cakeland.
For more than five years, baking has been my way of celebrating life’s special moments. What started with creating birthday cakes for my five children soon grew into making cakes for family gatherings, friends, baby showers, anniversaries, and other celebrations. Every cake became an opportunity to learn, improve, and bring someone’s vision to life.
From Family Kitchen to Cakeland
For years, my cakes were only made for family and friends. I never imagined turning my passion into a business. But after receiving constant encouragement from those who tasted my cakes — and especially after participating in local pop-up events — I realized there was a real demand for handcrafted cakes made with care and quality ingredients.
The Cake That Started It All
One cake that quickly became a customer favorite is my Ube Cake, inspired by the rich flavors of the Philippines. Seeing customers come back for another slice and hearing their excitement gave me the confidence to officially launch Kat’s Cakeland and share my creations with the community.

Today, every cake is still made to order with the same attention to detail and love that I put into the very first cakes I baked for my family.
